Wakefield Development Company Named Developer of the Year

Raleigh, NC, April 23, 2007 – Wakefield Development Company, the Triangle’s largest residential community developer, was honored with three awards, including Developer of the Year, at the 2007 Major Achievements in Marketing and Excellence (MAME) Awards held in Cary on April 20.

The MAME Awards, presented by the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council (TSMC) of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh/Wake County, is the Triangle’s largest and most prestigious marketing awards competition in the building and real estate industries. Nominees were judged in numerous categories, including industry involvement, product development, land planning and advertising.

Renaissance Park, the newest Wakefield Development Company master-planned community located in southeast Raleigh, won two awards for company-related promotions, including Best Special Promotion (consumer-related) and Best DVD.
