Wakefield Development Company Announces Design Team for Major Master Planned Community in Holly Springs

Technology Will Increase Customer Service and Unify Company's Communities

RALEIGH, N.C. February 1, 2007—Twelve Oaks, one of Wakefield Development Company’s newest master-planned communities, has announced partnerships with Poythress Construction Company, among the leading residential and commercial builders in the Triangle area, and Schelfe & Associates, a full-service interior design firm based in Raleigh.

The two companies are working with Wakefield to build and design the community’s plantation style Welcome Center, which will sit next to a 687-acre Nicklaus-designed golf course.

“We are excited about this partnership and the opportunities the Welcome Center provides 12 Oaks homeowners,” said Polly Jenkins, Senior Director of Marketing, Wakefield Development Company. “Wakefield’s past successes have been built on our commitment to quality and excellence. Poythress and Schelfe share this commitment and continually surpass our expectations. We are proud to offer one of the first truly high end, luxury communities in Holly Springs.”

" We want to develop a prestigious and distinctive community for Holly Springs,” said Kevin Poythress, president of Poythress Construction. “The goal at 12 Oaks is to combine high-quality construction and luxury amenities with traditional Southern architecture and design.”

To carry out this vision, Wakefield Development Company turned to Schelfe & Associates, which is designing the interior of the distinctive, Southern plantation style Welcome Center, set to open this spring. The project team is led by principal Tim Schelfe, ASID.

"It was extremely important to the team that 12 Oaks fit the scale and character of the surrounding community," said Schelfe. “We’re so excited to be part of this new master planned community, and to be partnered with the largest development company in the Triangle.”

Homes will begin selling in March 2007. For more information about 12 Oaks, please contact the Community Manger by calling 919-622-3779 or go to the website at www.visit12oaks.com.
